Practice Manager
Why do I do this work:
Knowing that my efforts contribute to a next great sober happy holiday, a return to meaningful relationships, or a simple ability to laugh again, translates into a profound and unshakable personal fulfillment.
What I bring professionally:
I bring a dynamic blend of director-level experience and hands-on operational expertise, honed through years of leadership at small businesses and Fortune 500 companies. As a former Training and Quality Director, I have a track record in establishing robust learning and development programs and driving continuous improvement that impacts efficiency and while meeting or exceeding key performance indicators. My professional experience has cultivated a highly adaptable and effective communication style, allowing me to bridge the gap between clients, frontline staff, and Executive Boardrooms.
How I show up at Ava:
As Practice Manager, I maintain a “finger on the pulse” of the organization. My primary goal is to orchestrate the seamless flow of both staff and clients, ensuring that scheduling, resource allocation, and support personnel movements are optimized to meet demand without sacrificing quality of care. I dedicate time to analyzing operational data and observed processes, specifically looking for repeatable patterns and areas for improvement.
The Emotional Core:
I believe that success is a direction and not a destination and that the only difference between those who have found long-term fulfillment and those who are still searching for their direction is their perception of, and their reaction to, failure. My own journey has been shaped by moments of failure, and I have had the opportunity, with the help of others, to pivot and learn. I want that for others.
What Grounds Me:
What provides me with unwavering stability amidst the demands of my life is the deep foundation of my spirituality and constant connection with my family. My faith fuels my commitment to service. My daily familial connections anchor me. I am incredibly fortunate to have a strong, loving wife, and either see or speak to my mother, my siblings, and my adult son and daughter every single day. They provide immediate unconditional love and support, reminding me of the values I strive to uphold, ensuring that I return to the present moment feeling nourished, centered, and ready to meet the next challenge.
